Joy

I Light a Candle for Joy.
With Joy in My Heart and Mind.
I Light My Inner Attitude with thoughts of
Hope, Peace and Love.

The Wisdom from My Hearts intuition guides
My thoughts and Actions.
My Desires, My Purpose and My Life,
Are aligned with My Higher Self.
I Experience a Fullness of Joy.
I Am Joy.

Our Advent journey takes on new dimensions as we come closer to Christmas. We often remember the past holidays when we may have visited with family and friends. The traveling we have done, the sights, sounds and smells of Christmas fills our minds and we often long to go back to grandmas house. Or another home where we remember warm hugs and a spicy aroma coming from the kitchen. Where the baking began early and the tins were filled with cookies. Where every one was welcome and the children were important.
This year many of us have experienced a more private journey — a journey of the heart. We can give thanks for our past experiences and challenges as we continue on our path of Love and acceptance. In our life there have been guideposts of love and fear, to direct us to more fulfilling experiences and greater loving relationships. Through out our life we have experienced many high and low points. Through it all, hopefully, we have learned to make better choices and create more harmony in our life. We have come to know through our choices how we can experience greater inner fulfillment.

The things we long to experience in our life are the very things we must create to fill our hearts and lives with the Joy we deserve. God always says YES and pours forth blessings. Now... we must also give to our Self the most fulfilling Christmas that we can imagine.

As we light the first three advent candles we can feel the warmth of the past weeks of preparation for Christmas. Our awareness of the presence of God has increased each day in meditation and contemplation. We are filled with God's Joy in this Holy Season.

Our heart overflows with Joy as we light the forth candle and remember our journey from Hope, Peace and Love to a fullness of Joy.
